how can you tell if cat is taking care of her kittens?

I know she just had her kittens i heard them under the house a couple of days ago. I can't get to the kittens or see them. The cat was by me all day. her teats don't look irritated and i don't hear the kittens anymore.

1. I think your cat must have sneaked away and nursed them. Or, she's just done nursing them and they are grown up enough. There must be a way to get under your house, too. I would try and find them.
2. i hate to tell you, call animal control, they can check for you (you should not go under there), if you want to keep them i am certain they will let you. good luck.
