How old do you have to be to foster care a kitten/cat?

I'm 14 and I would like to foster care some kittens or cats,but exactly how old do you have to be to be able to do that?

1. You usually have to be 18 or 21 to fill out a foster application through a rescue. If you get your parents to fill out the foster application, you can still be the primary caregiver for the kitten, but technically you should be under supervision. It really depends on the rescue, or organization you choose to foster from.

3. Your mom or dad can sign up and you can help out with the care. Minors aren't allowed to do it so just make it a family thing. I'm so glad you care enough to want to help. Have your Mom check with your shelter about signing up.
